Whether you have severe back pain or a bulging or herniated disc, you want effective and lasting relief. Many people are told they’ll need surgery or painkillers, both of which can be risky. Non-surgical spinal decompression is a drug-free option to address your pain or disc issue. Best of all you won’t need to go under the knife.

Conditions It Can Help

Here are some of the main conditions that decompression can address:

  • Bulging or herniated disc
  • Degenerated disc

  • Severe arthritis
  • Stenosis

Dry needling is used to alleviate muscular pain. During the treatment, one of our chiropractors will insert multiple filiform needles into your skin. These small, ultrathin needles do not inject any fluid into your body. The needles are placed in “trigger points” in your tissue or muscle. These points are areas of hard or knotted muscle. The needles help release the knot and relieve any muscle pain or spasms. The needles only need to remain in your skin briefly.

Many of our new patients explain their symptoms with some hesitation—other providers haven’t understood them, or haven’t even sincerely listened to them. We listen and then, based on what they’ve told us, we are able to put our hand exactly on the spot that hurts. We can explain why it hurts where it does, and this gives our patients hope because someone has finally listened and truly understood their problem.

We usually see patients more frequently in the beginning, when we’re addressing acute symptoms. Once function has improved, we reduce the frequency. And when health is restored, many decide to continue seeing us for supportive care, to keep their body functioning at its highest potential all the time.
