Dry Needling in Goffstown
If you’ve tried other therapies for stubborn muscle pain or tension without relief, dry needling at Goffstown Chiropractic Care, PLLC may help. This precise, targeted approach goes straight to the source of muscle-related discomfort by addressing trigger points that won’t release on their own. It’s designed to help you move more comfortably and return to the activities you enjoy.
What is Dry Needling?
This focused therapy targets muscle trigger points—tight, knotted areas that cause pain and restrict movement. Unlike traditional acupuncture, which works with meridians and energy pathways, dry needling at Goffstown Chiropractic Care, PLLC targets the actual muscles and soft tissues involved. Very thin, solid filament needles are placed with precision into the exact spots where your muscles need help, often creating a brief twitch response and noticeable relief within a couple of days.

What to Expect During Your Session
The needles are extremely thin, and many patients barely feel them as they’re placed. You’ll rest comfortably while the needles stay in for about 10 to 15 minutes. Mild soreness for a few hours or up to a day is possible and typically fades quickly. We recommend staying hydrated, having a light snack beforehand, and avoiding strenuous activity for the treated area later that day.
From Needle Anxiety to Many Sessions
Dr. Bailey once had significant needle anxiety himself, but a single 10‑minute session from a colleague greatly reduced his pain. That experience inspired him to offer dry needling so more patients could benefit. Out of thousands of sessions performed in our office, most patients have experienced meaningful relief.
